Queensland has awarded its regulated air services contracts:

Love 'em or hate 'em, this is good news for ZL. Status quo (routes wise, but not schedule wise or aircraft wise) for QF. And, unfortunately, not so good news for Skytrans.

Let's hope Rex position ground cooling carts at all these ports as it'll get quite warm on turnarounds!

Rex, are currently authorised for single engine turnarounds on their current runs to/from Townsville. I'd say they will continue this practice with the new contracts.

You mean one engine is kept running on the ground?.

Correct, they keep No 2 running
