Hi,

Today I got a DVB-T dongle, I downloaded Planeplotter and it seems to be working ok, I am only using the basic antenna.

Does Planeplotter automatically create a daily log of aircraft seen? or do I have to set it up?

Is Planeplotter the best software to use? I'm not sure if there are any other programs like this.

Can anyone give me tips on the best setup for PP to get the best use of it?

Will it still know the reg if i'm not connected to the internet?

I have added Regs and Types manually but once they reappear the information isn't shown any more, is there a way to fix this?

Can I change the time to my PC time instead of UTC?

Thanks

Hi Ben,

Virtual Radar Server (http://www.virtualradarserver.co.uk/Screenshots.aspx) is another good program for ADS-B. It can keep a log of flights seen as well as plot your range. I've attached a screenshot of it running on my system.
