There was an Airbus Helicopters support bird on the pad at Batman Park this morning, missed getting the tail, looked like an EC135.

Took off towards AVV.

Some other different birds are in town doing touch & go on the pad too. Normally it's Microflite down here with 2 other regular charter birds.

Edit: Seems one of the Police birds is busy on a ferry run today from Police Command (Pad opposite the Hilton) to AVV, counting number 6 run.

Very Busy day for Choppers from the 2 City Helipads.

A39-005 DRGN5 is doing a few orbits south of Avalon at 3000ft, after departing RW18.

Now doing a low pass along the runway at 1500ft and 306kts - should look good.

Looking forward to tomorrow, though will be tired (departing Wagga at 3am).

Though just spotted that VH-XCJ (first visit) and VH-PPD are both due in tomorrow into Wagga, always the way.

Got a photo of the Sabre landing. Looks like a few aircraft will depart this evening and tomorrow morning. Shame, as I didn't get to them all!
