Thanks Greg ; I would only have known about the flypast if I was a regular reader of the RAAF's website as there wasn't any publicity about it in Perth as far as I am aware.

Hi Bob, This was preparation for operation SLIPPER parades across Australia on March 21st, which as Greg said, recognise Australia’s military contribution to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission in Afghanistan.

It looks like the four C-130s are out in formation today for the Operation Slipper Parades. They appeared on ADSB around 0930L, probably departing Richmond, and then I noticed them again at 1130L heading east towards Bega

One to look out for is Qantaslink Dash 8-Q400 VH-LQL, now sporting a livery for Taronga Zoo, I assume this will mean the horribly faded QOW has been reverted back to standard livery as she had the best part of last week off in SYD.

QOW was in Wagga this morning (though had a uni lecture, so unable to get to the ap). LQL is due to fly the lunch time scheduled service to Wagga, which used to be serviced by a Q300.

A photo of the new livery was posted on the Taronga Western Plains Zoo (https://www.facebook.com/TarongaWesternPlainsZoo/photos/a.164483913595498.31316.162191930491363/882440625133153/?type=1) Facebook page

This morning, picked up US Army 02-1863 (http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7214811&nseq=0) Gulfstream Aerospace C-37A for about 5 minutes.
Coca-Cola Co. N586RW (http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7908533&nseq=0) Gulfstream Aerospace GV-SP, track for about 33 minutes.
