From the RAAF ...
The Australian Defence Force will support the 2015 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne with aerial and ground displays over the 4 day event.

AERIAL DISPLAYS
The Roulettes, the RAAF’s aerobatic display team based at RAAF Base East Sale, will perform daily formation aerobatic displays with each pilot maintaining their aircraft only 3 metres from each other while conducting aerobatics and fly-pasts down to 60 metres above the ground and at speeds up to 550 kilometres per hour.

Fri 13 March
12pm – 12:15pm – Roulettes aerial display
3:55pm – 4:05pm – F/A-18 Hornet aerial display

Sat 14 March
12:45 - Air Force F/A-18 Hornet Pilots autograph session
1:30pm – 1:45pm – Roulettes aerial display
4:30pm – 4:40pm – F/A-18 Hornet aerial display

Sun 15 March
1:00pm - Air Force F/A-18 Hornet Pilots autograph session
2:40pm – 2:55pm – Roulettes aerial display
3:10pm – 3:20pm – F/A-18 Hornet aerial display

Went over to Essendon today to watch the Roulettes head out, only 5 went out as they appeared to be having issues with one aircraft. Ground Crew were working on it for quite some time.

Then headed over to Melbourne for the Hornet departure, it took off, did a vertical climb followed by a roll before heading to Albert Park.
