Driving to work in the early morning this week I noticed a 737 that seemed to have NAV lights as bright as the 787. I first thought it may have been the 78, but according to Flight Radar (I pulled over to check of course), it was in fact a 737. Are there now options to fit LED lights to the fleet?

There are a few of the B737's with the white LED wingtip strobes. The tail lights are still traditional strobes.

I don't know about Virgin but everything from XZI onward has the LED nav and strobe lights for QF

Indeed - if you zoom in on this photo of VH-XAP (James Strong aka Retro Roo), you can see the LED lights (on the wing, not the winglet).

Virgin's YIW and an have them. Supposed to last as long as the aircraft, saving Maint hours. YiZ ( I think) was nearly grounded when the new Nav lights failed and the replacement circuit board couldn't be sourced within 10 days.
