There are not many left now who flew in Bomber Command. In the last six months I can count three who have died who I knew well.

But that's what happens when the youngest of the cohort is now over 90!

So if you know anyone who did fly during the war, talk to them about it NOW. The day will come, and quite soon, when there's none left.

I totally agree with your comments and thank you for your service.

I have recently re-discovered several biographies of WW2 Bomber Command crews. Pure bravery considering the odds of returning to base or even completing a tour.
