QF176 went to Noumea.

I was on the QF108 yesterday, and we were certainly looking at going to Noumea at one stage when Brisbane was fogged in and Sydney was PROB40 FG for our arrival. Thankfully Sydney's fog dissipated faster than forecast. In addition to the QF176 and QF94, the QF150 was also flying down with us, and were themselves considering a diversion to pick up more fuel - not sure what eventuated there!

I snuck in at about 2:30am or so, from Sydney. Our Brasilia was next in and last in I think .... another of out Metros tried and missing out, diverting to the Gold Coast instead.
The entire airport was shut down for a while and I had to delay our leg from BNE to Cairns until the fog had lifted and me & the FO had rested enough.
(Using the FADE system, so naff-all rest in reality :( )
We got back out to the airport at about 10:45am and the fog was totally gone.
