JQ7 from Melbourne to Singapore turned around and diverted to Darwin after a faulty instrument was noticed by the flight crew. The aircraft had just experienced turbulence.

The aircraft involved was VH-VKE.

ATSB are investigating and have categorise it as a "Serious Incident "
The report is due December 2016
