Did they select a window when they booked their ticket online? Might be a small additional fee for that....

Awful occurrence, whether explosive device or equipment failure.
The Terror, in all its truthiness, chose to use a picture of a Boeing 777-200 with a fiery explosion photoshopped onto it to bring its story about an Airbus 321 incident to life.
But really, it was the Murdoch press and at least they used a picture of an aircraft.....

Interesting post on another forum on Feb 2, (I presume GMT time) the day of the incident. It states that.
1. It was a bomb. (Although not officially confirmed at that stage)
2. The route is normally flown by Turkish Airlines, but they did not turn up at HCMM that day nor the previous day "due to a technical problem". The Turkish desk was closed and tickets were hand written. Daallo Airlines would take the passengers on behalf of Turkish Airlines. The passengers were told that Turkish Alirlines would meet them at Djibouti.
3. The aircraft was delayed in taking off, so it is suspected that the device was on a timer and detonated earlier than planned.

An update on the bombing of the Daallo Airlines aircraft.
It is being reported the the laptop containing the bomb was passed by airport employees who were walking in the opposite direction to the bomber after he had been through security.

There was video on last nights TV news showing the handover.
I think that two airport employees were arrested.
