There is some nice ducting going on out in the Tasman at present, with reception out to 590nm.
Hepburn (http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo_aus.html) predictions have the ducting as Good to Very Strong today in the Tasman, but tapering right off tomorrow.
On this snap shot we have Air New Zealand Airbus A320 ZK-OJC operating ANZ772 YMML-NZAA at a range of 506.68nm (938.37km).
