Hi
I would like to take my mum on a heli tour of Sydney and surrounds for her 80th birthday and then have it drop us off at a local park closest to were we live at the end of the tour.

Is this possible? If so any recommendations on who I should book with

Cheers

There's a bunch of operators at Sydney Airport to choose from.

Blue Sky Helicopters is probably the longest established operator, and they have an R44, B206L and the cool MD500E.

Sydney Helitours operate R44, R66, EC-120, EC-130 and Agusta 109.

Bondi Helicopters fly B206 and R44 and R66 (the same one as Sydney Helitours).

I've only flown with Blue Sky on a harbour scenic, and they were fantastic.

I'm not sure what the restrictions for helicopters stopping at local parks are, unless you're the Auburn deputy mayor...

You would have to get permission from the owner of the land and the council (if it's a park likely the same) before there was any chance of landing there, and that is very unlikely.

Hi David, post the same topic on bladeslapper.com - see what happens in terms of HLA's and the rules, etc. Good luck, very good idea.
