I have not seen a departure for N795CK on ADS-B, and FlightAware do not have a Flight Plan either.

Apparently the Kalitta 742 has been donated to SACL and will be slowly decommissioned then preserved on a extremely tall pole at the yet to be confirmed future spotters platform that is due for installation and completion sometime in the near infinity of the known universe.

Did the Orion really land? I went there to see it but couldn't find it (I arrived around 3.30). Someone who had been at the spotting mount since 10am told me he hadn't seen it either.

I'd say it was picked up on ACARS but it certainly didn't land at YSSY. Perhaps it went to Richmond, Nowra or Williamtown?

United B789 N13954 operating UAL99 from Melbourne to Los Angeles, has diverted back to Sydney. The aircraft had almost reached Lord Howe Island, before turning back, and is now on the ground in Sydney with an expected departure time of 1428L. This diversion almost made it three United Dreamliners in Sydney at the one time, with the Sydney LAX and SFO flight departing only a few hours before.

No word on the cause of the diversion - probably Medical or Technical (the Brisbane Centre feed on LiveATC is down, so no way to check on the nature of the problem).

United website says:

Status: Delayed due to operational difficulties (Arrived Gate 3 Minutes Late - Diverted to Sydney, NSW, AU (SYD))
