On 1st April 2016, Thai Airways celebrate 45 years of operations into Sydney Airport, the initial service being Bangkok-Singapore-Sydney. This first
service was operated by one of the airline's Douglas DC-8s, which were leased from Scandinavian Airways. The DC-8 livery in 1971 was the same as
this Boeing B744 Retro Livery.

All Thai liveries have been attractive Grahame.
Always a pleasure to see them in Sydney.

I assume this service has been continuous. If so it must be close to a record for international service into Sydney and Australia?

A very good airline, great liveries and all my flights with them have been very enjoyable.

Cheers
