On 1st April 2016, Thai Airways celebrate 45 years of operations into Sydney Airport, the initial service being Bangkok-Singapore-Sydney. This first
service was operated by one of the airline's Douglas DC-8s, which were leased from Scandinavian Airways. The DC-8 livery in 1971 was the same as
this Boeing B744 Retro Livery.
