Can anybody supply more accurate details on DC-3 VH-CWS fate after sale apart from supposedly going to Korea.
Trying to update its already interesting history on

There was a bit of a write-up in Aus Aviation March 2016 p78 but nothing more than the mention of Korea.
The aircraft was offered free as long as the new owner could cover the cost of dismantle and freight but nobody took up the offer.
The last owners name is mentioned, so he might be contactable.

Greg, the previous owner tried to buy the DC-3 back again, however Peter refused the sale. A true shame we lost another Dak to overseas.

CWS was shipped from Port Kembla to Masan in South Korea on the vessel "Tamerlane" after transport by Wallenuis Wilhefmsen Logistics (WWL) from Bankstown to Port Kembla early 2016.
Believed to be for the Korean Naval Academy Museum (not confirmed though) in Masan.
aussieairliners website on VH-CWS being updated shortly as awaiting confirmation of final destination details.
Lots of help from Greg which has been much appreciated
