THE world’s biggest budget airline alliance has formed in a cutthroat battle for passengers across the Asia Pacific.
Travellers will be able to view and book best available fares on flights from eight low-cost carriers, including Australia’s Tigerair, in a single transaction using any one of their websites.
The “Value Alliance” partners are Tigerair Australia, Scoot, Cebu Pacific, Tigerair Singapore, Jeju Air, Nok Air, NokScoot and Vanilla Air.
They collectively serve 160 destinations in countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, China and Australia including 17 major hubs.
