Expected to be used VA freight service.

VH-SFV should arrive in September as well .

The question however will they be in Virgin Australia Freight livery or TNT? as TNT is their major customer and without them then Virgin Freight would not have been set up.

Also a new B300 for RFDS QLD VH-FDC was also registered on 5 August.

AA is reporting that Pionair/VACS is expecting delivery of:

Bae-146-200QT's VH-SFW/E2105 in August & VH-SFV/E2086 in Sept.

Has anyone noticed if VH-SUF (Ex. ZK-ECO) is still parked at Bankstown & yet to enter service.

SFW was converted to a (F) by BAe and has been a freighter for it's entire career.

Another F100 added to register, VH-NPU/11502 on 09/08.

I expect that it will be heading West for Network/Qlink

I hope the rego doesn't reflect the cabin air quality

OE-LVN now VH-UQW Alliance Airlines F100 was towed to Gate 47 at the Virgin terminal at BNE late this morning.Still in Austrian livery minus the tail logo and titles.

Need to watch this one to see what is is going to do?

Hey guys
I spoke to the guys at Pionair at YSBK about when VH-SUF ex ZK-ECO will go flying and they said that they have to do a lot of repair works and other things. It won't be flying for years or so.

VH-SUF is not a QT so it won't be doing freight flights at all.I think it will become a spare parts frame?

Pionair BAe146QT VH-SFV


SFV arrived at Bankstown yesterday afternoon and unfortunately I couldn't make it out there for the arrival. Second best was to take a run out there this morning, only to find it had already been towed into
the Pionair hangar. It looks like being at Bankstown for about three weeks, presumably for some inspections and maintenance. It might require a Transponder update as well, as it was only operating MODE-S
on the way here. The TNT colours look great.

Sister ship VH-SUF is looking a little worse for wear, with three of the four engines removed (I noticed two of them in the back of the hangar). I have heard that VH-SUF may only be used for parts.

SUF is a spares ship for sure.

Any gossip when the next one is due ?

SFV had been in storage in Canada for just over 12 mths.

SFV was to be the second delivery of the two, so not sure what has happened to the first. The aircraft also looks to be in quite good condition, I could only spot one small area of possible corrosion at the front end of the starboard main gear door hinge.

The TNT colours do look good on the 146 Rowan, hopefully they stay on for a while like SIF, even if the just add a few Cargo logos.

Yes Grahame is correct.This one was originally due Sep and VH-SFW due August however they were meant to only be about a month apart.

When SFW arrives it should also be in the TNT colours.
