How Do You Get US Registration N1 ?
Easy if you're the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
The FAA's 1988 build Gulfstream G-IV N1 (1071) "Spirit Of America" landed on Runway 16R at Sydney Airport this morning, as showers of heavy rain passed through. The aircraft has spent the last
couple of days in Melbourne, after arriving from Pago Pago on the 2nd August with US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx on board. You will find the G-IV parked on DOM5 outside the Hawker
Pacific hangar.

Great photos Grahame! No ADSB fitted to it as well, only ModeS!
Execujet VH-LVH CL605 made a visit to Wagga this morning, only to get grounded. Was taking off but aborted at 232km/h (https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/vh-lvh/#a91fbbb) and used all of the remaining runway to pull up, not sure if it was a bird strike or a tech issue! Since VH-LVH was parked in Bay 6, RAAF A37-002 CL604 taxied to Bay 3 (typically used for SF34 and DH8).

VH-LVH is an interesting catch Robert. From our Sydney ADS-B records for the past few years, the aircraft has never been into Sydney - unusual since it is operated by Execujet.
Thanks for the Wagga Wagga images Robert - always good to see what is happening down there.

VH-LVH seems to be a Singapore based aircraft going by the Execujet's spec sheet (http://www.execujet.com/media/49952/exjaus-charter-spec-card_challenger-605-vh-lvh_29042015.pdf) and flight history on FA and FR24. Though I'm surprised it hasn't made a visit to Sydney.
Thanks, VH-JCX Learjet 36 is in paint ATM, as is Sydney Seaplanes VH-SXF Cessna Caravan C208 is also in paint. No photos of these due to uni.

Hunter Region SLSA Helicopter Rescue Service Limited (VH-ZXB) Finmeccanica S.P.A AW139 called though, headed to the Illawarra. Only photo I have, the second memory card corrupted (time for a replacement I think)

Hunter Region SLSA Helicopter Rescue Service has three, VH-ZXA, ZXB and ZXC. ZXA is already in the Hunter by the looks, called though Wagga on 10th of June. ZXB was registered 12 July, while ZXC on the 5th of August.

First shot I have seen of these Helos Robert, still getting use to the old QF Regos on another aircraft (bummer about your memory card).

Wonder if I will see them soon at my local getting fitted out at Heliworks. AW139s seem to be the new black when it comes to HEMS operations in Australia.

Here are some shots from earlier in the morning, when 99-6143 was parked on the new Kilo Apron (before being towed to DOM6 Bay 99), and then the departure later in the morning.
99-6143 is associated with United States Department of State Foreign Emergency Support Team activities. This is a quick-reaction transportation operation utilized by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency, the Domestic Emergency Support Team, and the Foreign Emergency Support Team to respond to terrorist incidents worldwide. The aircraft may also be utilized in conjunction
with the Special Activities Division of the Central Intelligence Agency. The squadron motto is "Non semper ea sunt quae videntur" which translates as "Not always what they seem". Arriving on Sunday evening around 1830L, 99-6143 spent its time at Sydney Airport parked on the new Kilo Apron.

qantas.com has a QF6032 due to arrive in SYD at 0715 on Wednesday from GIG via SCL. If this isn't OEJ I will eat my hat!

Think you better make that hat scarce, OEJ is operating tonight's SFO which makes it impossible to nick over to RIO and be back in time for a Wed AM arrival.

Oh wow... you might be onto something there... OEG is the aircraft positioning from SFO down to SCL right now. That's... different!

IIRC the same thing happened for the Beijing games, the aircraft bringing home the team was not the themed one. 2012 OJU was themed and brought them home.

I wonder if this was deliberate or if something happened to OEJ?

Info from a group on facebook is that OEJ went tech in SFO hence was unable to ops Saturday's QF74. It was then scheduled to ops today's QF27 before positioning to GIG but as it was out of position OEG was substituted via SFO.

On August 16 at YSBK i saw a brand new Diamond DA 62 only 16 days old and the 27th built by Diamond Aircraft. i believe this aircraft is owned by Hawker Pacific and is going on a national tour around Australia. So glad that i saw it!
Here are the dates where it will be going:
