EMERGENCY services are at Sydney Airport treating passengers injured after their aircraft hit heavy turbulence.
Five of the passengers are being transported to hospital for treatment, according to Ten News.
A spokesman for NSW Ambulance told news.com.au: “We have been called to a Mascot location to respond to a number of patients reportedly injured in turbulence.
“It appears as if we will be required to assess a number of patients.”
Airport Fire and Rescue were also reportedly responding to the incident at Bay 32 in the domestic terminal.
