An Emirates A380 aircraft heading for Auckland had to divert to land at a New Zealand Air Force base.

Seems a Singapore Flight 286 had an issue on the runway at Auckland when the Emirates flight was 20 mins out.

Why has Qantas have ground equipment there, or maybe it's an old photo.

It's a file photo from the Emirates/Qantas partnership launch by the looks of it. That's a Qantas A380 tail just behind the EK tail.
