From the latest "In the Air" Newcastle airport newsletter.

Welcome back QantasLink!
Following a suspension of services late last year due to pilot shortage, Newcastle Airport is pleased to welcome back QantasLink. The airline will recommence its Newcastle-Brisbane service from Monday 28 July with up to three return flights per day.
Book your QantasLink flight at www.qantas.com

Good news for those from Newcastle wanting to make connections to QF flights to PER, LAX etc.

And they have a $69 Red-e-Deal between 28/7 and 18/9 to sweeten the deal.

Cheers
James

Nice to see them back. Would be nice to have -400 to MEL and BRIS.

You won't see QFLink flights to Melbourne any time soon, if ever again, according to Qantas' press release.

It is a real shame two flights a day could not be sustained on each route.

Interesting....trying to book a return flight Bris to Ncle on 23/8 and returning 1/9 and the Qantas website goes straight to Jetstar flights. No Qantas flights showing at all....
