Not only was the Airbus A350-1000 Demonstrator at Sydney Airport today, but also the Bombardier Global 7000 Flight Test aircraft C-GLBX, arriving non-stop from Dubai. C-GLBX is the third Flight Test aircraft (FTV3), and a fifth is almost ready for its first flight. So far the Flight Test program has amassed over 1000 hours. This dual visit is a nice co-incidence, as Airbus & Bombardier entered into a Partnership late last year to build and market the C Series.

The cabin windows look a fair bit larger than in other Globals , or is it an optical illusion due to its unpainted state .

The first Cessna (Textron) Citation Longitude 700 to visit Sydney Airport arrived just after sunset today, touching down on Runway 34L - This aircraft is operating under an FAA Experimental classification and has Honeywell HTF7700L (AS907-2-1S) engines - N707CL on DOM5.
