AA72 Return to terminal

Was waiting for this one to take off at home in Marrickville to show the in-laws, but it returned to the terminal.

Anyone know why?

AA72 didn't return to the terminal but either aborted his take off roll very early or taxied along the runway and vacated 34L at Lima. He taxied towards the terminal and held on 25 or Hotel just short of Yankee and after a while taxied back out to 34L for take off.

Due to congestion with other aircraft waiting for international bays, I presumed he would return to a bay when one was available but didn't. I didn't hear any tower audio, so I can't add any reason for the return but presumed it was a small problem that was sorted out. The take off time was 11:51 according to Flightaware and the flight arrived in LAX about 25 minutes late.
