Let's settle on a date and then get Sydney Airport on board. The one we had on 24/12/17 starting in their penthouse overlooking T1 was excellent.

I would love to be there. It would also be great if somebody like Wings over Illawarra, or another airshow, would let us get up closer to the action, even for an hour or two. Just dreaming out loud.

We just have to set a date and get in touch with Sydney airport folk. Kurt Ams is the man for that.

Are there any further details or updates on this planned weekend? I haven't attended a spotters weekend before. I'm currently in the US and will be here for a while longer, but I'll be staying at the new TWA Hotel at New York's JFK airport in a couple of days. The hotel is a top location for spotting.
