Illawarra Regional Airport to be renamed Shellharbour Airport. Interesting to read a little about the history. Impulse operating services to and from Sydney as well as Southbank Aviation with services to Newcastle and Canberra. Hopefully it will attract more RPT services with the new terminal apart from Flight Corporate.

Is the name of the local airshow going to change?

The 2020 Wings Over Illawarra Airshow website is up and running , so it appears that the name of the air show will remain , at least till 2021 anyhow .
