Someone told me that there is a new airline starting up called Freedom Air that will be staffed by unvaccinated crew and will fly unvaccinated passengers.

I Google'd this story and could find no details at all. Has anyone heard of this new Freedom Air?

I believe there was already an existing airline by the name of Freedom, anyway.

Sounds like the fever dream of a anti-vaxxer who's losing his job next week.

"Oh yeah, then I'l start my own airline, just for people like me".

If Australia ends up with something like 92% vaccination rate starting an airline just for the 80% seems incredibly dumb.

Would you fly on an airline run solely by people who don't understand risk?

Freedom Airlines was Air NZs answer to Jetstar and Kiwi as a LCC, ceased ops in 2008

May very well be.

And, let's be frank, it's exactly what the world and the travel industry does not need during a pandemic. Freedom for the virus is patently stupid at this point.

Agreed, and the fact is if you aren't allowed to leave country A or enter country B its really pointless.
