Unconfirmed report that VN-A819 Bamboo Airways 787-9 has been grounded due to financial issues and has been sitting at YSSY Sydney international airport since August 16, 2022 now with engines sealed up.

I can confirm it’s at SYD parked up with its engines covered , it seems likely that there is some operational issue ?

Both of Bamboo's two other 787s arrived in Australia on scheduled flights this morning (one SYD, one MEL) so I'd say that makes Airline Secrets' version that -A819 is parked in SYD due to financial issues quite unlikely...

Yeah, I do take their stories with a grain of salt :)

Just to finalise this thread, the Bamboo Airways B789 VN-A819 left SYD at 21:45 as QH97 for SGN on Monday 5/9/22 and has returned to service. It was in SYD for nearly three weeks.
Does anyone know what the unserviceability was?
