An A320 and an airport safety car have had a collision, the engine impacted the drivers area, hope they are OK

Can't read it as it's paywalled.
But NewsCorp called it a wing propeller.
Who are the WSOs hired by? Sydney Airport or contractors?

Apparently "an airport security contactor ran into the wing propeller of a grounded plane".

Lucky it was just a "wing propeller"

Actually, it looks like they collided with some force - so a medical episode does seem plausible. If the tow was underway before the crash it does seem puzzling absent a medical episode - most likely a hypoglycaemic reaction? Hope the driver is OK.

From last nights news:

Only one person (contractor) in vehicle and the aircraft was under tow.
