Two Qantas planes have been involved in a minor collision at Perth Airport overnight.
A flight landing from Canberra clipped the wing of a stationary plane as the former approached the gate.
The incident, involving two Boeing 737-800s, occurred just after 9pm.

While approaching the gate at low speed, the wingtip of one aircraft has come into contact with the wingtip of another stationary aircraft at the adjacent gate

Does anyone know the regos? From the photo it looks like one of them is VZW.
I guess that's one way to fast-track a split winglet installation!

Apparently the setup on gate 18 and gate 18a was an accident just waiting to happen, with poor ground markings and closely positioned dual a-vgds’s.

Any updates on XZP & VZW as to when they might be flying again / out of service?
