I notice many people including myself have hand held scanners with air band. Can you get? or is there anyone with air band on their car stereo systems. This will be cool and convenient.

I have seen such a set-up in the WRExcel belonging to one of the esteemed moderators of this fine board... he's overseas at the moment but I'm sure he'll be around shortly to tell us all just how he does it.

I have my scanner hooked up to the aux input on my car stereo. It sits in my
phone cradle and charges from the 12v socket. I was going to get an external aerial but don't think it would suit my car.
