One of my wife's friends (who is prone to exaggeration) is adamant that she drank Veuve Cliquot champagne in Business Class, "all the way" to Sydney last night (14/8).
I'm very sceptical about her statement and as a bottle of Veuve will settle a bet, can anyone tell me if QF does supply Veuve Cliquot in Business Class. If not, does anyone know what champagne would be served ?

and as a bottle of Veuve will settle a bet
So if I give you the answer, does that mean you'll give me a bottle?
:D

Nah, you should just be happy giving me the answer.
I need to score a few points in the never ending battle.

Nowadays, International J normally serves Charles Heidsieck and Lanson, so I doubt Domestic will be any higher than that. More than likely it'd be either of those, or Moet.
FWIW, Veuve is served in the lounge from time to time, but never seen it in board.

IMPOSSBILE.
Hi Bobby,
We do not serve veuve in Domestic J, or for that matter International J class.
On domestic Business you will find only Australian wines. We serve Australian Sparkling - Jacobs Creek. ( Piccolo size ). That is as close as she would get to champagne ( assuming she knows the difference between sparkling and champagne ! )
We have no room for large champagne bottles. We have never served veuve in domestic business.

Thanks for the reply Jason - looks like I have won my bet.
As I mentioned, my wife's friend is prone to exaggeration but does know her wines/champagnes etc. But I think she was just playing a little one upsmanship game.
Too bad she lost !

Actually for the last year Domestic J sparkling had been Yarra Burn. It was Tassie Tigress for the two years before that. While we served the Tassie there was a substitute you'd see on occasion.
You wife's friend is telling tall stories :)
