I do not post my photos on airliners.net or any other sites at this point and i am having trouble adding photos to my text that i post. I just got back from a 5 day training task with a C130J and have some nice shots of aircraft along the way. I would like to start a thread to share my story and photos however it seems the only way is from a URL sie. How can i transfer photos from a memory stick to my story. Any help would be great thank you.

Hi Tony
Best to get a Photobucket or similar account, upload to that, and then copy and paste the html code into your posts here.
If you've got any really good J pics, drop me an email as I may be able to use them.
Cheers

Tony you could try this website as it gives you a hotlink to post pics on forums.
www.imageshack.us
once they host the picture you just copy and paste the appropriate link to the forum.

I Just joined photo bucket. I hope this works
Hi Tony - when posting images, just press the image button (little picture of a mountain in the yellow) and enter the direct URL to the photograph - in this case http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr222/DAplane/IMG_3587.jpg
If you want to post multiple shots, its probably just best to give the links for people to click on, its a bit friendlier for people with dialup connections -mod

Hi Tony,
The best way to go about it for the competition if you don't want to use photobucket is to use the board's attachment option, when you're typing up your message, hit the little paperclip icon next to where you choose your font and follow the instructions. Just make sure you've used photoshop or something to reduce the size of the photograph to less than 300kb.
