Pacific Blue’s Bali expansion has prompted a swift response from competitors, with Garuda announcing it will resume direct flights between Brisbane and Bali from December 14.
The Indonesian carrier will operate three flights per week, departing Brisbane
on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday morning.

This shows how much the Bali market is opening again. There is speculation in Adelaide that Garuda may re-introduce services becuase of the Pacific Blue announcement.

Stefan unfortunately as early as last month GA stated that BNE reinstatement of services was on their radar but AKL and ADL were not.
However things can change when someone else opens a new route but GA always intended to come back to BNE .
I hope the speculation is industry founded not spotter founded, but i hope you do get them back and getting Pacific Blue is wonderful for ADL.

Services have been canned! Forward bookings were poor apparently.
Comes as no surprise....
Case of Garuda being complacent again, expecting to relaunch BNE and have no competition - JQ is offering a daily 1-stop BNE-DRW-DPS and Pacific Blue a 5 weekly nonstop service with Premium Economy.
They should have never left the Brisbane market anyway - if they didn't it's possible they could still command most of the BNE-DPS traffic!
Disappointing that we will not see their aircraft - not a huge loss though
Cheers
