Can anyone confirm VS201/200 has been XXLD today due to the typhoon off HKG?

Are CX or QF flights getting delays?

No delays on CX. All 3 overnight flights to SYD arrived very close to schedule. Same for QF.

There was a threat of one last weekend, but it didn't hit HKG. Heavy rain was the end result.

Delayed a/c arrived this morning so both G-VNAP & G-VWIN in today; G-VWIN departed this morning as VS200A and G-VNAP arrived as VS201A so assume this will operate todays VS200 as scheduled.

It was Due in to Hong Kong Just as the HEAVY rain and tail end of the typhoon hit. So lot's it's slot as told by the Captain that was due to take it out of Hong Kong to Sydney and they were sent to Shezhen in China and had some problems there with getting Fuel and then the Crew run out of Hours of after 3 Hours on the ground the Chinese left the passengers be Bused to Hong Kong and the Crew come with the Plane the Next morning so we all had a Lovelly day at Hong Kong before we Departed at 23.30 06 Oct 08 some 28 Hours later, bye the way we got the crew thay fly it into to Shezhen and onto Hong Kong so they must have been Stuffed after all that..... Our crew from VS200 on Sunday 05 Oct got to Bring the VS200 from the 06 Oct into Sydney...... But I must say the crew were Great, I slept like a log in Upper Class for 71/2 Hours of the Flight. SO I was Happy....

on the 23 Sept, I left HK on CX161 for SYD, while typhoon signal #8 was up. the other 2 flights to Sydney that night were cancelled

seat belt sign was on for 60 minutes after take-off, and we headed towards Taiwan before turning right to Sydney to get around the typhoon

plane was 100% full, even the crew rest seats were being used by passengers.
