Etihad stadium
FOOTY fans will have to get their tongues around a new name for Telstra Dome after a major new naming deal was signed today.
United Arab Emirates airline Etihad Airways was today named as the new naming rights sponsor for the ground and immediately announced a name change effective from March.
The Docklands venue will be known as the Etihad Stadium - a name ground boss Ian Collins said would take some getting used to.

I'm sure they would have picked it up if Collingwood's home ground was Etihad stadium.

If Cathay Cagro took over the naming rights, with their polished metal freighters it could be called the Cathay Chrome Dome :D

How about a JetStar Stadium with a huge Star statue outside the stadium for people to do the "Star" pose?
Furthermore, if Cathay wants to name it, it would be Cathay Pacific Stadium/Dome... anyway, seems Cathay won't spend that stupid $ on this...

They're runing out of oil, and they know it.
They need to create other industries to support their people when the oil runs out, hence places like Dubai have become attractive tourist destinations.
