Sunstate Airlines plane make emergency at Brisbane airport
By Rachel Hewitt Herald Sun November 18, 2008 09:34pm

A PLANE has made an emergency landing at Brisbane Airport with 35 passengers on board.
The plane, a Dash-8 flying from the central Queensland town of Roma to Brisbane, touched down just after 8.23pm after reports of smoke in the aircraft's cockpit.

Brisbane Airport spokesman Jim Carden said it was a Sunstate Airlines plane, which is one of Qantas regional airlines.

"There was smoke in the cockpit," he said.

"It's landed safely and everything's OK."

A Qantas spokeswoman said emergency services met the aircraft on landing and followed it to the terminal.

She said there were no injuries and that there had not been a fire aboard the aircraft. Engineers were tonight inspecting the aircraft for the cause of the smoke.

I think it is tired already Greg... it is too often they do it everywhere i guess. In Indonesia, you often see them quoting "Boeing 734-400" or just "Airbus" and then put a picture of some random aircraft operated by that airline.

The problem is Johannes, that aircraft isn't operated by that airline AFAIK
