Hi,
Anyone know whats happening with EBL?
She was due for delivery in DEC but I havent seen or heard anything.
The original plan was for a QF Intl config, but have heard could be Domestic config or even JQ?

Going by the following photo, it appears -EBL will be a QF bird:

I reckon it could be in INT config - lets finally get rid of 767's from long haul flying!

The only A332 scheduled to PER during JAN-FEB are the 2 domestic ones.
A daily A333 also ops SYD-PER-SYD midday departure.
There is no sign of any additional A332 flying international or domestic.

Not in INT'L config.
Last time I looked Perth-Sydney was a domestic flight. They only ever had international configured aircraft one a handfull of flights, so why the big deal?

The 332 should come off the AKL-LAX route soon - that would mean 2 x 332's are to be utilised.

Not in INT'L config.
The B743's are in international config arent they and they fly the route, has already been stated in another thread that the B743s are finishing flying on the 26th of Dec.

Why would QF bother with an INT'L config with a brand new a/c if its destined for domestic flying?

They are fast tracking the retirement of the B743's it maybe what routes it ends up on to start with, remember things will change with each new A380 delivery also, B744's will start coming off those routes, QF did say about 18mths ago it did intend to put B744's on domestic routes between MEL/SYD and PER

GUYS!
The schedules for DEC-JAN-FEB are complete, the B743s are replaced by the 2 domestic A332s a few extra B763s and the single daily SYD-PER-SYD A333 flight.
There is no sign of this new A332 in the schedules, INTERNATIONAL or DOMESTIC!
