I found this photo that was taken yesterday of V Australia VH-VOZ I though the first one was going to be VH-VGA or is this the second one.

Unfortunately VGA had been reserved by another operator so they have had to use VOZ.

Hahaha... oh you guys are too much!! :D :D
It's probably a good thing that I won't be flying VAustralia now.. otherwise you're right, I might have ended up in hospital with these new photos showing VA's first 77W resuming preparations for delivery!! :D
Darn, I had -VGA as an acronym for 'Very Gorgeous Aircraft' ... what the hell am I gonna do with -VOZ ? "Very Ozzie" ?
Anyone heard any news on delivery date? Doesn't look it has begun flight testing yet, so I guess we should use that as a good guide. Better NOT be Boxing Day, got the Sydney to Hobart to watch! :D

It seems V Australia (VOZ ) is going down the VS route (at least with this one) and using a quirky rego with the "V" followed by a short word e.g. VFAB, VBIG, VHOT, etc. Tougher with only two letters to work with tho :p

Haha, yeah, it seems to be very difficult with only 2-letters, because here are the following rego's:
C/N 35302 VH-VOZ (was VH-VGA ntu)
C/N 37938 VH-VPD (was VH-VGC ntu)
C/N 37939 VH-VPE (was VH-VGD ntu)
C/N 37940 VH-VPF (was VH-VGE ntu)
Provided by Bobby C in this thread (http://yssyforum.net/board/showthread.php?t=1872)
Seems like -VOZ was purposely done to sound 'Aussie'..but the following seem to be in standard order.

ahhh...or maybe they are using that one because its their ICAO code?:rolleyes:

Or because it happens to be the last one in the VO block, held by DJ?

VOZ is Virgin Blue's ICAO code. VAU is V Australia's code*. :)
* - according to Wikipedia. Don't know if it's accurate or not.

That's correct Andrew. When the aircraft first came out of the paintshop it had -VGA rego on, but if you have a real close look at the photo linked on Page 1 of this thread you'll see she is now tagged as VH-VOZ.
Still no word on delivery date for VA's first bird ?
