Hi all,

Just had a look at the briefing pages for YMML and found something strange:

16/34 is 3657/60 and 9/27 is 2286/45. That said, I understood that all A380 ops must us 16/34.

When I read the briefing I found this:

REF AIP DAP EAST MELBOURNE THE FLW PROC APPLY FOR AIRBUS A380

I was under the impression that 9/27 was not suitable because the sides had not been hardened to prevent debris onto the runway?

Anyone help me out here?

I think you may be correct.
I have yet to see it use 09/27 at all, even through its flight training phase!

Don't know if the sides have been sealed, but it is now approved for ops.

Hi All,

If it does land Rwy 27, it must get very close to the Fence as it rolls off onto the Taxiway at the End.
