I understand that the A380 operates SYD-LAX on Friday arriving back Sunday, then it operates MEL-LAX on Monday arriving back Wednesday. But does the A380 ferry from SYD-MEL on Sunday and vice versa on Thursday or....?

I know that after arriving back in Sydney on a Sunday it ferries to Melbourne on a Monday but I dont know about the ferry to Sydney.

I saw OQA arriving on 16R today as I took an early mark at 1.30pm(ish), I was a bit surprised to see it on a Wednesday.
