Air Niugini have a 2nd B757 in their fleet.
P2-ANB B757-256 c/n 29312 (ex TF-FIY & EC-HIV) and has winglets.
It operated PX1 last Friday and departed on Sat as PX2 to Port Moresby.
It arrived earlier this evening as PX1 and will depart tomorrow morning.
Not sure if they still have TF-FII but P2-ANA is still in service.

Seth, looks like that photo was taken from the old control tower carpark area - I always note the gates to that area state they close at 7pm, is that right? I want to get down there on Friday evening to get some of the sunset shots and just wondering how long we'd be able to stay there, particularly for things like the late Etihad A346 arrival, Air Nuigini and Hawaiian etc.

It's always different- last night it was 7:30, other times I have left at 8:30 and it's still open. I've also been locked in a couple times (with several other cars) because i was at the fence and didn't realise they were clearing the carpark. They were nice enough to leave a note with their number and come back to open it when I was ready to leave.

Thanks Seth! Good to know if we do get locked in, we should be able to get out again! I could think of worse places to be locked into though :)

If you dont want to run the risk of getting locked in you can always park on the other side of the bridge and walk through the carpark. I know it's an extra hike but no fun if they decide not to leave their number for you to call to get out.

Thanks Nick. We'll weigh up our options when we get there. Might not stay much past 7 anyway, or maybe be at a different location... Always good to have options!
Happy New Year everyone!
