Is the aircraft the 742 (usually in the all white scheme) that is here for a horse charter?

Visable from the M5 - you can get a photo from the Mound but the usual traffic will park next to it and block the view in an hour or so.

Great photos (and the ones of the C17). Gee the 742 looks so plain and boring - way too white!

Rumor around is that this Aircraft will be retire before long due to massive corrosion and replaced by a 747BCF next year!

Just read on acarsd registration news that Dubai Air Wing have now acquired a B747-412F(SCD) from Great Wall registered A6-GGP.

This confirms Brian's post in Aug last year.

This left Singapore for Dubai on the 6th which is the same date Grahame posted that A6-GDP arrived in Singapore.

c/n is 28032 ex B-2429

Will probably be painted in SIN - all white again??

The a/c will be in the shops for a while, while it under go's re fitting with all that special horsie stuff they put in side the thing. It's like a flying Vet Clinic!

J Brown

74Y A6-GGP looks quite good actually, as she wears basic Great Wall colours, but in true Amiri flight style, looks as if she rolled out of the Boeing factory yesterday!
