View Full Version : Where is VH-EBJ?

Hi guys,
Ever since VH-EBJ had the little steering incident about a week back now, I have not seen it in service on the usual transcontinental flights. VH-EBK is now on the PER-MEL flights and random A330-300s have been doing the PER-SYD flights in place of EBJ.
As it has been a week already, does anybody know what has happened with VH-EBJ as the problem does seem rather serious considering the plane has not been flying for a week already?
Cheers,
Wenglock.

Morning all,
Up until yesterday it was sitting outside the QF hangers in Melbourne. It hadn't moved for 5 days.

They had five aircraft parked in MEL on Sunday, that IMO isnt a good way to operate a business.

No different to other airlines,no demand so park them till required.
I did see that there were a lot of Virgin's parked at YBBN on Sunday and Monday.
Just an idea for the Spotting Weekend-Can some one get them to park up in YSSY for the weekend, so those who are missing photo's or rego can photo and log them, with out having to chase them.
Kurt -I buy you drink if you can arrange it.

Sunday being a 'busier' day and it also being holiday season seems an odd day to have jets parked by any airline, Saturday I could understand.
It really did hit me last night on how it is effecting every airline globally though by looking at some of the international pax numbers in/out of MEL last night with some flights with only 20 pax on them:eek:

I have always found the Sunday in the middle of a long weekend to be a quiet day.

Actually the last month or so is the first time in ages QF have actually had some spare capacity.
OTP has improved greatly as well over the last month.
