Qf 93/4

Sydnay airport departures has QF 93 departing Sydney today for Los Angeles. Is this normal because I thought that QF 93/4 operated from Melbourne.

OQC is the bird operating this one today from Bay 9.

I saw on Acars that OQC operated QF6003 to Melbourne this morning (although the message said Avalon). So will that go down pick some passengers up from Mel and travel back up here to do the service because QF11 can't.

What's the reason for the stop over in Sydney? Does it have anything to do with the delay in LAX the other day?

Also todays QF94 isnt due into MEL till 22:26 so there must be a problem some where

Maybe performance limited due to the extreme heat in MEL?

Has OQC turned up yet because acars has it listed as doing Melbourne-Los Angles a short time ago on the normal QF 93?

It arrived at 1340 from Melbourne as QF93 and was on chocks at 1351 at Bay 9.
