I know that you can use the frequent flyer points of your family members or relatives. When making the award booking, the website ask you how you are related to the member. How does one prove that you are related to the member, especially in the case of first cousins, uncle, aunt, etc? Can Qantas actually ask you to prove you are actually related to the member at check in?

A bit to late at time of check in as I doubt not many people carry around their family tree when travelling.
I have done many transfers and no questions asked at any point.

I'm sure many people have many more "cousins" for the purposes of FF points than they have in real life! ;)
