Hey all,

Just wondering does anyone know the regos and delivery dates of the next few Q400s due this year?

Thanks

QOP due around 21feb will operate TSV-ISA run from end march.I believe this aircraft may go into service immediately as another Q400 is due for a checkup.

QOR due in March will most likely replace Alliance F100 on BNE-MKY run by late April ???

TSV-ISA Flights are now loaded into the system commencing Monday March 2nd.

2 return flights daily with a single service on Sunday afternoons. There is also an additional daily CNS-TSV-CNS service to allow crew and aircraft rotation to/from CNS.

Promo fares start at $99 one way.

QOA and QOB are due for maintenance checks which also adds to the rush to get the new A/C into service.

VH-QOP is currently running out of Sydney (Was in Canberra last night), VH-QOR I do not know as I have not seen it around yet. QOO and QOQ are regos not being used, as they are currently taken by someone else.

I flew QOR back from CNS-BNE yesterday, they tend to keep the new ones close to the BNE base until all the post-delivery snags are tidied up.

QOR already has a nice big scratch on the forward baggage on its first day of ops thanks to a baggage tug which got a bit too close.

According to the timetable section on qantas.com, it now seems QantasLink will be running Q400's from MEL into LST and DPO from April.

Add CBR and MQL (Mildura) to that list as well.

Any new deliveries in the last week or so? When is the next one due?

The Q400s start flying out of MEL for the first time from next week.

QOR spends a lot of time up in Nth Qld. Have logged QOR regularly over the last week operating out of TSV & CNS to MKY, ISA etc.

There are 7 Dash 8 400's to come yet, QOS - QOY. Possibly 5 to come this year starting in July/August

QLink Q400's are now also 74 seater aircraft (previously 72). Made possible by pulling out the rear locker and placing in two seats. Was on -QOH the other day and it had been done, and now the website has finally changed over to state it.

The remaining 6 Q400's should be delivered by the end of the year. At this stage 1 more to be based in MEL later this year with the rest split between BNE and SYD.

No new routes as yet, probably just replacing -300's.
