I know this is late notice. Im heading out to Camden later this morning for the Missionary aviation fellowship open day. They will have their planes and pilots there to answer questions. Will be interesting to see some smaller aircraft.
Free entry from 10am.

The day appeared to be a success from MAF standards. They had 2 planes there. A Cessna(VH-UBV) and a GA8(VH-MTF) - which had only 9 hours flying time on it at the start of the day. The GA8 was manufactured at Gippsland Aeronautics in Melbourne. It was flown around for most of the day - from 10 till about 4pm, and then flown back to Melbourne on Monday. In the coming weeks, it will be flown up to PNG to be used there on trips in the highlands. I was lucky to 30 min flight in the GA8. Very impressed with the interior, and was very comfortable. Let me say that it was the first time that i had flown in a small plane(ie. not a boeing/airbus). I've added some photos including a wierd one i got, when capturing a tiger moth, where one of the photos contain something that i cannot explain...
