Spotting this Friday Afternoon?

Hi everyone,
I'll be at SYD Friday afternoon for the first V Aus departure (but sadly staying on the ground!) and was wondering if anyone planned on doing some spotting at SYD in the afternoon.

This will be my first time spotting at SYD and am hoping to get a few good hours in!

I've come over with a sudden attack of bureaucracy and carlessness. I can't get out today. With that, I have a question: what days does V depart and is it always 3pm? I suppose another question is, when do they arrive?

Not according to their website. 3pm departure is just a one off and it will normally depart about 8:30pm for a 5pm arrival in LAX. Arrives home March 1st at 9:15am or their abouts. Will depart LAX at like midnight near the same time as QF108. Hope this helps.
