With the delivery of VH-EBL not too long ago, just wondering whether or not there are any more A332s to come for Qantas, or is that it?
Apologies if it has been covered elsewhere/previously

Hi Jim,
I think that is it for now.
It will be interesting to see if they keep them in international config, given the routes they were flying on (PEK/BOM/PVG/NRT) have either been dropped or moved to 333 equipment.
it owuld probably make more sense to convert them to domestic and get the 333's all on international again (ie not having int config 333's doing PER's)

Thank you.
Two, EBJ and EBK are domestic, the reset (excluding the Jetstar a/c of course) are international.

There are no more A330s on order for QF.
I would think the int'l config A332s will remain in that configuration and this will allow for the remaining 763s to be removed from the int'l fleet. They will either go to domestic or be retired.

According to Aviation Letter (Dec'08); A330-202's 1061 & 1094 are listed as CIT Leasing Corp/Jetstar Airways.
Not directly related to the QF query but of interest.

How many 763's still fly Int routes ?
SYD-HNL-SYD being one of them, would be nice to get a REAL QF A330 on this route :)
What are the other routes still flown by the 763 ?

out of curiosity, what is the seating difference between domestic and international 767's? I thought they were all the same?

In business domestic is 2x2x2 in international it is 1x2x2. Business seats in international also have more leg room and a small PTV. Down the back in economy no major difference.

If you meant do international configuration appear on domestic routes, then yes. It is getting less frequent with the conversion of said aircraft to domestic configuration.
With the conversion to domestic configuration J seats are fitted with laptop power that is not present in the international configuration. Though the seats become 2x2x2 (as already mentioned) and lose 12" of pitch to 38".

... and lose 12" of pitch to 38".
Also loose 6 inches of recline and a very comfortable cushion. The international seats (called Dreamtime for those that care) are really made for sleeping in were as the more firmer cushioned domestic seats (called Millennium) are really just for relaxing or doing work in.

I've had 2 recent flights SYD-BNE and both had the Dreamtime 1X2X2 seating. I know they are old seats but they are still very comfortable.

I found the Millenium seats to be very comfortable when I flew on the red eye from Perth a few days ago. Even managed to get some sleep on the short flight.

IIRC in the cutbacks announce late last year, Qantas said they weren't taking up these leases.

There were origionally 4 lease aircraft in the deal, now there is only 2. The announcement was to drop 2 of the aircraft. So there is still 2 coming but which tail it has is anyones guess.
