Iraqi President in Canberra

President Maliki of Iraq arrived in Canberra tonight. Will be visiting Sydney later in the week.

Any idea what equipment is being used? Not clear on the short newsclip I saw on SBS.

I believe he uses A300B4 YI-APX, a gift to Iraq from Iran (ex Mahan Air).

It is definately Airbus A300 YI-APX. From media reports it should be coming to Sydney tomorrow and departing Sunday.

Yep. It is parked at facing this south so you should be able to get a decent photo, depending on where you stop along Ross Smith Avenue.

Now i know why are there so many police surrounding the area. This caused slight jam for me and other passengers into the domestic terminal.

Yo Benny if you are talking about midday today, that was acctually a truck accident in Mascot too which caused the massive traffic jam on GH Drive and the area. Plus the Iraqi's.
